How to partition a disk in Linux?

I have Linux installed on my SSD. the entire disk is completely partitioned. the crux of the matter, can I partition an already fully partitioned disk? to divide it into a gpardet, you need to unmount the disk, but I can’t do this, because the OS is already running on it.

Initially, you could use LVM, which allows you to manage partitions and sizes on the fly.
Now - reboot from an external live system on a CD / flash drive, and resize from there.
But where else to share just 220 GB?

Boot from LiveCD, of course - distributions deployed on flash drives - a wagon and another cart, some installers allow you to exit to the console, Calculate, for example.
Only the show is clumsy - 220G - what is there to share? I have a 500G Samsung - I recently pulled out a Samsung 850 EVO at work - and then I can’t refuse the HDD.
In the future - use LVM, it ruled :)
