How to parse an SNMP packet from a switch?

How to understand what data the switch issues via the SNMP protocol? Probably there is some kind of convenient software for intercepting and "sorting out" the metrics that the switch sends?

If I understand correctly, you want a string like:
1.3.6.1.2.1.17.7.1.4.3.1.1.1 = string "office"
See as:
Description Vlan "1" = "office"
If I understand correctly, then you need a MIB file from your switch (this is a kind of dictionary that translates the OID into a textual representation)
And the MIB Browser which will automatically "digest" this

the most convenient are zabbix and PRTG

mib browser. And MIB files, which describe what, where and how is given. However, if there are only standard MIBs, the MIB browser usually has a typical set.

I have been using cacti for such purposes for 14 years
