How to overcome 2k/4k youtube video issue on firefox?
Good afternoon.
There is such a config: Intel Core i7-4790, GTX-650, 8 GB of RAM, Win 7
I put 2 browsers: Firefox, Chrome
And now, on Firefox 4k / 2k youtube, the video does not work at all, wild strobe and pixels. Only sound is heard.
Everything is perfect on chrome. Tell me, please, what is missing fox?

The problem is that YouTube thinks that your browser does not support MSE & WebM VP9.
Solution 1. Type about:config
in the address bar
2. Find the media.mediasource.webm.enabled parameter
3. Change the value from false to true
4. Restart the browser
5. Enjoy
PS: after that, 4k / 2k becomes available with 60 fps
