How to output an image to HDMI on a laptop motherboard?
Good day!
Question for connoisseurs of the hardware part of computer technology. I had an hp pavilion 15-n268sr laptop that had been badly damaged on the outside from years of use. The electronics itself works properly and I would like to give it a new life. But I'm facing the issue of displaying the image. As I understand it, by default the image is displayed on the embedded screen, but I want to use the external one. How can I make the image redirect to hdmi by default?
I need this as I can't see the start screen and bios.

Laptop screens are usually connected to the motherboard via the LVDS bus, or there are a lot of glands of LVDS-HDMI or LVDS-DVI converters
No way. The second screen is connected by the video card driver in the OS.
With a faulty screen on an hp pavilion 15-p and an external monitor connected, the monitor was black before Windows loaded. Then - everything is OK.
At the same time, I did NOT want to "see the initial screen and BIOS" at all.
If you REALLY need to see it, ask the service to temporarily throw a test screen in order to install Windu.
PS Screen replacement cost about $60
