How to organize work with several projects on one PC?

Hello!
Once again, I decided to clean my Work PC from unnecessary information and unnecessary data and realized that I had a lot of problems with the organization of data and data structures. I will describe the problems one by one.
I work for myself, for my projects. Often I perform actions in Photoshop, I write (rewrite) code in PHP, JS. I am engaged in advertising campaigns in almost all possible networks, in some I have 20-30 accounts, I follow projects and manage Cash almost like with 5 payment systems. I have several sites, 3 main projects are located on hostings and access to them directly via FTP and other copies (30 pieces). When I create a new project, starting with an idea, I create a folder with its name on the C drive, then I put the necessary subfolders in it and in the middle of the folders files, Passwords, data, images for the project, code, and so on.
After a while, I need to save the file for this project in order to fix it, I forget about the previously created folder (or I just can’t find it) and create a new one with similar names With a different hierarchy, I upload projects there. I have only 3 projects and there are millions of folders with nestings on the disk, plus all this I have a very bad habit, if I need to somehow edit a file (code, image, style, tkt file) I download it from FTP to my desktop , somewhere much faster (to any folder that comes across) I edit and upload it back. As a result, I don’t remember the path to the file, and this file is no longer needed, but I don’t delete (forget) it. need to solve other problems quickly. Now such a mess on the PC 80% Information and data are generally not recognizable to recall. From this I formulate 2 main questions.
1. How to organize "Working hierarchically correct and convenient folders for projects" i.e. are there any solutions for large projects, with the correct hierarchy of the necessary files, tips for file names, and so on.
2. How to handle temporary files, mostly text, graphic. After all, every time to create a new folder in the root of 3 million folders and projects in order to correct 1 small little thing in the picture, this is probably crazy.
