With the onset of summer, around the 15th of June, I decided to install video surveillance for the greenhouse (protection from cucumber robbers). I bought an Ezviz C4S camera and inserted a 32 GB memory card into it. Connected via power supply. Then I decided to go further and purchased a PoE injector and connected the camera through it. Currently working with a bang.
At this time, I decided that next year or late autumn I will save up money and buy a PoE switch and two more of the same cameras.

Approximate scheme for connecting cameras for the future

Should I buy a PoE switch?
How effective will it be without a DVR?
What will be the advice?

For this, the registrar was invented to send records immediately to the cloud.
PS The cloud may be under your bed.
