How to organize the work of several back-end developers in one project?

Actually, at the moment, the project involves one back-end developer on outsourcing, who cuts tasks by sprint. But back-end tasks are gradually increasing and there is a need for another developer. Tasks are unrelated, how to properly involve another specialist? Can there be contradictions between them and what kind of disagreements can they be?

When reconfiguring a team of programmers, it is useful to draw an analogy with builders. This is clear enough. For example, with tilers. In your case, there is a project - this is an apartment. And there is one tiler who does not cope on time. He needs help. You can give him another tiler to help. Further, if they work in the same room, they will have to negotiate among themselves. At a minimum, the first tiler will have to spend time explaining to the second work plan that he had in his head. This often takes a very long time. The ideal option is to place the tilers in different rooms, then they will not have to negotiate and, most likely, the work will go faster.
You can also ask your tiler, maybe he needs a slightly less qualified assistant? Maybe it's better to hire someone to stir the cement? For example, to deal with administration or migrations.
From my own experience, I will say that the ideal option is heterogeneous non-overlapping teams. For example, a team consisting of a backender, an admin / devops and, for example, an information analyst.
In general, I would talk to the backender and find out what infuriates him on the project.

Let them saw, just follow the changes in dbl, otherwise conflicts are possible. In addition, use gitflow, and it is desirable to make changes in small features for a maximum of 5 days
