How to organize the transfer of items and counterparties from accounting 2.0 to accounting 3.0?

Don’t kick too hard, I’m not a 1s programmer, but it became necessary to import data from one filled database to another, which has just begun. Version 1c - 8.2.
In general, people worked in accounting 2.0 and did something not quite right there, now they decided to start everything from a new sheet and at the same time switch to a newer configuration, retaining only the nomenclature and counterparties. If there are other ways to solve this problem, I'd be happy to hear it.

Apparently, the configurations are typical and have not changed by anyone, then the options are as follows:
1) Data conversion: a specialized 1C configuration just for transferring data from one database to another (regardless of versions and specific configurations).
2) Upgrading to version 3.0 (according to the instructions from the ITS disk) with the subsequent removal of everything except the Counterparties and the Nomenclature.
3) Actually invite a person who understands 1C. This, most likely, will still have to be done, because. the differences between configurations 3.0 and 2.0 are not only in numbers, almost every module is rewritten there.
In general, a very strange decision in the part "they couldn't figure it out in the old version, let's try to switch to a completely different, poorly debugged one, we'll give a fuck about all the accounting that we kept."

This option is possible:
1) Looking for the processing "UniversalUploadUploadDataXML". Available on ITS disks and on the internet
2) Take a new absolutely clean BP 2.0 configuration (preferably the same release as the original one)
3) Transfer Counterparties and Nomenclature there using the above processing. There you just need to check the boxes next to those directories that you want to transfer. In your case - contractors and nomenclature. Do not forget to also check the "upload if necessary" checkboxes for other directories, information registers, etc. Indeed, along with the nomenclature, its units of measurement are transferred, etc.
Do not forget also that you will probably need the "Agreements" reference books - in general, consult with your accountant again what else needs to be uploaded. Just sit down and go through the list.
3) After transferring to a clean database of directories, we update it to 3.0 in a typical way
4) PROFIT
