How to organize the site addressing structure?

Good afternoon.
Imagine we live in a perfect world!
We are making a website similar to Yelp
. Initially, there are a lot of companies on the website (30-40 lyam) and reviews.
Our task is for Google to eat all this information and give us traffic!
Imagine that the internal optimization is 100% done and everything we can do for the most complete indexing we have already done.
Our site is multilingual.
How do we organize the structure of the site (namely, the structure of domains / subdomains)
Solutions:

  1. We use a bunch of domains - 1 domain for each country / language pair (not all countries can buy national domains)
  2. One domain per country (site.us, site.ca, site.ru - not all countries can buy national domains), I have language versions in /en/, /fr/, /ru/ folders or languages on fr subdomains. site.ca, en.site.ca (as an example fr.tripadvisor.ch)
  3. One common domain, but the countries and languages within it

I really like the third option: a kind of branding)
And if we decide that we still have one common domain, then we need to decide on the structure of the project, and there are options:
  1. All in folders:
    • site.com/us/en/
    • site.com/us/es/
    • site.com/ca/en/
    • site.com/ca/fr/

  2. Countries in subdomains and languages in folders:
    • us.site.com/en/
    • us.site.com/es/
    • www.ca.site.com/en/

  3. Countries in subdomains and languages in subdomains:
    • en.us.site.com/
    • es.us.site.com/
    • en.ca.site.com/
    • fr.ca.site.com/

  4. Facebook style:
    • en-us.site.com/
    • es-us.site.com/
    • en-ca.site.com/
    • fr-ca.site.com/

  5. Your option...

Well, I have this theory: The less a site is divided into subdomains, the better Google will index it and regionally be able to more accurately determine the subdomain's affiliation. To do this, within the country / language, can I put regions of the country or cities of the country on a subdomain? It makes sense?
I understand that there can be no 100% correct answer, so I will listen to any options, detailed answers can already be considered correct answers!

@VisualIdeas

The option with one domain for all countries and languages is the most correct.
As for the implementation of the url structure, it would be possible to make languages on subdomains, but since you still need to separate countries, I don’t like this option.
I recommend doing everything in folders.
For SEO, it will be worse if you select countries as subdomains. Languages can be divided into subdomains, but this is more convenient for you.
I have my own international multilingual site, I just wrote about working with multilingualism on Habré. I have selected the languages in the folders. And the countries would also be done in folders.
