How to organize the shutdown of Siemens industrial PCs in the event of a power outage?

Good day to all. The question is related to Siemens industrial equipment installed on the SRSc 2000 bucket wheel excavator, namely a lot of analog and digital equipment, but from all this I am interested in 2pc and UPS. The fact is that when driving an excavator, feeders are disconnected from KRUPP, and recently there has been a tendency for long periods of time. As a result, the UPS is thoroughly discharged and when the power is turned off, all equipment + 2pc (of which one is used as a server) goes out.
The essence of the problem: Due to the frequent power outage of the excavator itself and the incorrect shutdown of the pc and the excavator program, the startup (configured automatically when power is applied to the UPS) occurs with errors, in particular, the program itself does not start (autostart, etc., everything is configured normally) . In this regard, you have to come and reboot 2pc, and these are delays, downtime, etc. After which the problem disappears.
Question: How to organize a shutdown (not a simple shutdown command) but a competent closing of all active programs and windows + the very shutdown of two PCs and the UPS switching to economy mode? I can’t write the UPS and motherboard models now, but the next time I visit the excavator, I think I’ll find out and add it here. Tell me how to start organizing this event and what sequence of actions needs to be done for this?
PS The fact is that there is no time for samples and experiments on this equipment (all work was tested at the time of modernization), and the whole process is carried out during stops between loading or minor repairs, which is on average from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Thanks in advance to everyone who answers this question.

OS what? If specialized for equipment, then only Shutdown at each move, if Windows, Ubuntu, etc. then set it to auto-off when the voltage is turned off.

The UPS should indicate when it needs to shutdown.
Depending on the OS, you can try running a script that will turn off applications and turn off the system.
More details without information about the OS is impossible to answer.
