How to organize reading SMS on a computer?

You need to somehow receive SMS messages to your computer, preferably on CentOS, i.e. for example, through a usb modem, where can I insert my SIM and read all SMS messages that come to it?
Or another cheap, reliable and easy way to receive SMS messages with a php script...
