How to organize joint work on a document offline via LAN?
Google docs is a great option, but there is often no Internet on business trips, but it would be nice to be able to work simultaneously with 2-3 laptops on one text file.
The ambush is that the versions of MS offices are different everywhere, and as I understand it, "blocking paragraphs, seeing who is making what edits, who is currently working on the document, etc." will be impossible.
Maybe you will advise some other office software for windows for these purposes?
