How to organize fonts in Ubuntu (Linux)?
Sometimes I work with graphics and I have to use a lot of fonts.
I would like to be able to sort them into groups - in one group, say, handwritten fonts, in another - posters, in the third some more. And so that they are also displayed in the programs.
Is this possible in principle?
For example, I have now downloaded Fira Sans (one of my favorite JVs) put it in the .fonts folder in my home directory and everything works.
But the bottom line is that there are 67 more Fira varieties, and if I just put them all in .fonts and then put another 100,500 fonts in there, I'll get confused.
In addition, I want them to be somehow displayed separately in Libre Office, for example.
In general, what to do to systematize?
Thank you.
