How to organize backup Zimbra 8 Open Source?

Currently installed Zimbra 8.0.6 FOSS on Ubuntu 12.04. I make backups at night using a script that stupidly copies the entire zimbra folder, then stops zimbra and copies everything that I could not. Then I archive this folder and send it to the backup server. At first, this method completely suited me, but as mail accumulates, a simple Zimbra becomes longer and longer. I have relay configured on the backup server and there are no problems, but still I wonder what backup methods are?
So far, the only thing I've found is Zextras Backup. Most likely I will use it, but, as they say, they don’t take money for asking.

do dumb lvm-snapshot ? and it is already incrementally saved somewhere?
