We need a solution to integrate all messages in one place and with a good notification system. The bottom line is that you need to respond to incoming messages at night, and for this you need to wake up, for example, in skype, jabber, gmail, viber - the signals are simply not suitable for my task.

Put the sound louder on the laptop, and upload your own sounds for notifications, so that the dead person gets out of bed.
Skype, ICQ, Mail-Ru Agent have it. I have no doubt that it is the same in other messengers.
