How to organize access to a broken smartphone?

Good day. Here I ran into a surprise. I found a relative's smartphone, which he accidentally stepped on. Total: The screen and sensor cannot be repaired, replaced too, because I did not find spare parts for this model
Is there any way to access the smartphone through the terminal or similar?
-- "wonderphone" is not "rooted", I did not debug, I did not turn on the developer on it.
If there is no way to access an already damaged smartphone, then it will be very useful to find out which applications should be installed so that in case of a broken screen you do not get such "joy".
- I'm already changing the second screen on my Chinese. Severe operating conditions, damn it (it cracked from the frost), but suddenly I get a lack of spare parts, so I think you should be prepared for "such an event"

@Vantela

I got into a similar situation. Wet the phone on vacation and the screen died. The rest worked.
There are a lot of applications that, being installed _in advance_, will help you. And not a single one that would help in hindsight ... in any case, I did not find.
To prevent such a situation from happening in the future, I personally did the following for myself:
1) I bought a waterproof phone
2) I bought a rubber bumper for it
3) I installed a teamviewer with autoload and connected it to my battery
