How to organize a gigabit network from an existing one?

Available

  • Mikrotik RB2011UiAS-RM
  • Existing enterprise network (100 Mbps)
  • PC with gigabit network card

Description of the situation
RJ-45 sockets are installed in the cabinets, connected to a patch panel in another cabinet by the type of direct crimping (all cores are used - 4 pairs). There was a need to organize a gigabit network.
Questions
  1. Is it possible to switch to a gigabit network?
  2. Is it necessary to change the crimp of the wire between the patch panel and the socket to a crossover one or will it be enough to connect a PC from the socket via a crossover cable?
  3. Which wire to connect the patch panel with Mikrotik and the socket with the PC: direct crimp or cross

It makes no sense to overcompress and cross anything, as long as your rb2011 can handle

I hope you understand that in Mikrotik you only have 5 gigabit ports? There is definitely no switch between the patch panel and Mikrotik?
