How to optimize font rendering in CentOS?

Lord! I use a headless (i.e. accessible only via SSH) server. OS: CentOS 6.5.
I really don't like how the fonts are rendered. I use the wkhtmltoimage utility, it picks up very well even custom fonts. But for comparison, how the same HTML looks like rendered in Win7 and CentOS. How would I achieve the result, as in picture #1, in CentOS?
Thank you!

No way. You can go through all the circles of hell, up to installing infinality patches. But fonts in Linux will always be scary IMHO.

If you're using SSH, what's stopping you from using whichever OS you prefer?
Obviously, the pictures have different fonts (or at least styles), so there is nothing to compare on them.
