Ctrl-O or File - Open File. But I usually add a working directory in the sidebar, it's much more convenient. To do this, open the sidebar (can be closed by default) "ctrl+\", and then right-click on the sidebar - add folder to working project. "ctrl+shift+l" to select highlight. I advise you to look at the hotkeys in the settings - "ctrl +,", then - keyboard shortcuts. Atom has an excellent hotkey resolver - "ctrl + ." is enabled, in case it is not clear why the hotkey does not work. Without hotkeys, work in the atom can be considered meaningless))
