How to open a site outside localhost if the nginx server is on a virtual machine?

I launched a test nginx server, it is on a virtual machine (vmware workstation, OC LInux Debian), attached my domain to the site (I didn’t do this), but it turns out that if you go to the site from the same computer where the virtual machine is, then everything is great. Started testing. If I log in from a phone or a site that measures the speed of the site (indicated the domain that I bought and attached) (0/100) - then it became obvious to me that only I can enter the site. Did I miss something? Or is it really impossible to make a "public" server in your apartment, for example?
