How to open a disk with files after NAS DNS 315?

What OS to put on the computer, then to connect the HDD, which was in the network storage, to pull files from the HDD?
I suspect that from under Windows you can not see the files after nas. Is it possible that in EXT the nas HDD is formatted?

ext4 there.
Perfectly seen from under Linux - since it is a native Linux file system
