How to only show media content from a specific host?

There is some media content (pictures, videos) that should only be displayed from my site (django, gunicorn, nginx). I'm wondering if nginx has such a feature that would allow displaying media content only if the user is viewing it from my site (for example, super-media-content.com), and a direct link to my site super-media- content.com/media/wowimage.png built into the pupkin.ru site would not work?

Checking the referrer is easy.
I don’t know about pictures, but for videos there is our solution from hotlinking: blog.wmspanel.com/2013/11/nimble-streamer-protect-...
This, of course, saves from downloading for the time being (rtmpdump and others like it) - powerful things), but cuts off a lot of "left" people.
