How to move PC to another subnet?

The local network has 2 subnets. Separated from each other. How to move a PC from one subnet to another?

Too little background information.
How is the network divided? To different L2-segments or different addressing within the same segment (game, of course, but I've seen this too). Assuming a normal separation, there are two options:
1) switch the port to the patch panel
2) reconfigure the managed switch by switching the desired port to the desired vlan
