How to move login form to another page in opencart?

I'm migrating the login page to
account/simpleregister. I merged the account/login controller with the account/simpleregister controller, I even tried not to merge, but to completely replace the account/simpleregister controller with account/login, but the login does not work on the account/simpleregister page (the page just refreshes).
How to solve that problem?..
