How to monitor the quality of the connection with reference to coordinates on Android?
The essence roughly boils down to the following: you need a small Android application that pings the host specified in the settings once a second, recording the current GPS coordinates and several parameters from the modem's web page with the status (there is just bare text on the page without unnecessary rubbish).
In principle, you can even not an application, but some kind of script. But I have some theoretical problems with how to write it. In principle, I have no problems in terms of how to request a page, how to ping a host and how to save it to a file using sh, but how to get GPS coordinates in this construction is not absolutely clear.
I ask the question because I'm going to write a small application (or script) for myself, but I really don't want to do bicycle building. In addition, I am more than sure that telecom operators have such or very similar software in terms of functionality.
