Smartphone choice. Does iOS slow down over time?

You can often hear that Android smartphones start to slow down over time and that there are no such problems on the iPhone.
Is the iPhone so perfect? Would you take it? What problems will I face after Android?

System stability.
Yes, with the release of new wasps, it can start to slow down. It affects the additional functionality of the system, which increases over time.
But you will bump into this not earlier than in 3-4 years

it doesn’t matter, look for what looks like it more and fits into the budget, but it’s better in my hand, I use both, I didn’t notice any strong difference in the operation of the software, if you take bottom-mounted devices - both of them slow down the same way, but on normal, everything works well, maybe if you use some special software, then see where it is supported

it all depends on how to use and from what price category smart. I perfectly saw how my iPhone of the old model and newer ones lagged. My flagship on android also lags and the screen is erased, and the battery is no longer the same (I use it quite intensively and inaccurately), and my friend has a slightly cheaper android and keeps the charge longer in operation and does not lag at all.
