How to moderate a forum?

Hello!
I manage the forum. The entire forum is dedicated to one single program. Today, this very program has been updated so much that, in fact, all the information collected is no longer relevant. How to moderate the forum in this case? All in the archive or create new sections with a division into a new and old version?

I would recommend creating an additional section where the thread at the bottom is "Old versions" or "Version X.XX" and move everything you need there. The archive is usually bad because all topics for discussion are closed there, and as practice shows, not everyone can quickly switch to a new version for some reason (no time, iron does not allow or laziness).
