How to migrate Zimbra from 8.0.x to 8.5.x correctly?

There is an Ubuntu 10.04 + Zimbra 8.0.7 mail server, as a result of communicating with the developers on the forum, I found out that it’s impossible to simply update the Ubuntu version to the latest LTS, since Zimbra will stop working with a 99.9% probability and they consider it normal. You need to set up a new server and migrate settings, accounts, etc. to it. In addition, every time I upgrade to the latest 8.0.x, Zimbra swears at an unconfigured LDAP, although I installed the 7th version in single mode, that is, this server is not connected to AD or another Zimbra. Every time you have to dance with a tambourine to update this server.
There are a couple of questions
1) I want the server address on the intranet to remain the same.
Is it correct to configure the same hostname on the server and make a wildcard on the DNS server?
2) I will transfer user accounts, but how do I transfer maintenance plans?
