How to measure the speed of opening a site in different places?

I'm looking for an online service/tool to measure the approximate download time from different continents - USA, Europe, Canada. Required to select the optimal hosting =)

The ping-admin.ru site offers a free site uptime check from different points, while providing quite detailed response time statistics.

The download speed is the sum of the channel width and ping. The width of each client is individual, but pings can be measured .
