How to master Drupal?

The goal is to master Drupal in a short time.
I am a programmer, I speak Python/Django, PHP/CakePHP, Bitrix. I love python, but at work I still have to use php. At the moment I am making websites on Bitrix, but given a number of shortcomings, I am looking towards Drupal.

Unfortunately, there is no good single textbook. This is a really big problem, I even wrote about it . So if you need Drupal, tune in for a long study.

I understood the book Pro Drupal Development www.drupal.ru/node/24005 . Many issues are discussed in depth. In my opinion the best book I have ever seen on this CMS.
