How to master cross-browser compatibility?

Hello. I'm not bad at typesetting, but I haven't had to do it cross-browser yet. I know that you need to set default fonts, sizes and other properties for text and not only where you need to assign prefixes for each browser. I know that some properties need to be replaced with a little code for IE. Is this knowledge enough for cross-browser layout? Could you recommend any good sources of training information? Thank you.

cross-browser? ha ha ha!
With current versions of browsers and even the latest versions of IE, this is no longer cross-browser compatibility, but just minor improvements.
Cross-browser compatibility was about 10 years ago. So yes, it was tough. One JavaScript what stood!

See how the greats of this world solve these questions. For example, css frameworks like bootstrap
In any case, you have to make a choice: develop sites on html 1.0 or forget about ie

now cross-browser compatibility is less and less relevant, because all new versions of browsers support and display sites almost the same way.
Here it is already more necessary to focus on mobile and tablet devices and versions of the site for them, as there are more and more such users and they are replacing laptops and PCs.
