How to manage folders (, nested) and filters on mail clients?

I ask for help, namely the procedure for performing actions. Tried but doesn't work.

Mail ru. Creating a new folder and setting up a filter is easy. But with nested folders, things are different.
For example, I created a folder:

1. Inbox from @mail
   
2. The filter is set. Drop from Inbox to the folder above. From field contains @mail
   
3. • Subfolder "Sent @mail "
     
   • The filter is set. Skip from Sent to the folder above. The to field contains @from-me
     
   
   

At step 3, the filter does not work automatically.

Subfolders (empty/non-empty) are not visible in the Yandex mail browser, but are visible in the mobile application.

Is this all repaired or normal practice?
