How to manage cache in Windows 7 64?
Hello!
I work with sampler libraries that require a large amount of RAM.
The picture shows an example of a relatively well-loaded project.
Only 5.9 GB, of which 3.5 GB per project.
It can be seen that there are 9295 MB in the cache. And I can't seem to get them out of there.
Moreover, the more memory I load, the more it becomes in the cache.
That is, if I now load a library smaller than the free 1094 MB, the program will still tell me that there is no more memory.
Question: how to limit the size of the cache?
I tried to do it with standard system settings, various utilities - impenetrable.
You can of course put more memory. But logically, in the end, I will still face the fact that using, for example, 12 GB, an unremovable 20 GB will hang in the cache. It's annoying and incomprehensible.
