How to make yourself the Internet in a private house?

Good evening, I would like to know the advice on how you can realize yourself the Internet. I live in a private house where there is no optical fiber, but there are multi-storey buildings no more than 2 km across the river. Accordingly, they have fiber optics. How can you connect the Internet can somehow create a Wi-Fi network

I have been living like this for 9 years already =)
At first I used home-made antennas with DWL-2100AP points, then switched to purchased yagi, and then completely to ready-made sets of Ubiquiti nanobridge m2 outdoor access points. I recommend that they immediately take a pair or a pair of mikrotik like them.
I did this: I called the operator, left a request for connection in the house where I wanted to put the antenna at the address of the last apartment + N, where N is an arbitrary number, but not very large =) free space on a non-lowering mast).
Because The antenna and the access point are one thing, and even powered by twisted pair, the installation will not take much time. You can even at the time of connection, but it’s better in advance (with a laptop, having adjusted the signal level, preferably on both sides. You can probably find a socket or a light bulb on the roof for a test run)
Then we lay our cable (shielded, 8-core - FTP) straight to the box desired carrier.
When the installer arrives, we show him the cable and the PoE adapter. We put it directly in the operator's box and sign it just in case - "Employee" =) (Later I really became an employee in this telecom operator) For complicity, you can also give it to the paw.
On the other side of the radio bridge, the wire must be connected to the device whose poppy address will have to be seen and registered by the provider, the settings must have already been entered accordingly. And that's all.
Each step has its own subtleties that are best planned and worked out in advance.
For example, pre-configure points on each other, save configurations. Try different frequencies, but it’s better to immediately go to a non-standard one =) Well, don’t twist the power to the maximum, but on the contrary, it’s better to underestimate it!

And why did no one suggest contacting the provider to organize a radio bridge? Maybe the necessary equipment is already there, yes, perhaps it will come out a couple of rubles more expensive (or maybe cheaper), but there is less trouble and a turnkey solution. In our region, for example, one of the providers provides such a service

if the houses are in direct line of sight, you need to agree with one of these houses about the Internet for you, purchase a couple of wi-fi bridges, for which work will be declared for 2 km and set up all this economy.

It is possible to lay a radio bridge not only to someone's apartment, but also to agree to put equipment on the roof, which will be connected directly to the provider's network. Wi-Fi does not require registration or receiving frequencies, but it may not be enough. This is solved by several parallel radio bridges.

Officially - either cooperate with other residents, or pay the cost of laying optics somewhere in your area.
Unofficially, the options have already been listed here - either agree with the tenant of the house to install a radio bridge, or agree with the installers so that the radio bridge is installed in the technical floor.
But you should always remember - that any unofficial connection does not carry any obligations. That is:
- a tenant of the apartment where you have a radio bridge can go on a long business trip, if something happens to the bridge - you will have to wait for him :)
- he can also corny sell the apartment, and send you a new tenant
- if the connection is made on technical floor, at the first complaint it will be turned off

Water is very bad. It is necessary to set points high (high mast) + use only standard A, and this is a speed of 10M and that is very good. But you have to experiment. Take a couple of access points with powerful transmitters (Mikrotik, Ubiquity) with the ability to use external antennas and legalized for use in the Russian Federation, buy normal parabolic antennas, negotiate with the DEC of high-rise buildings and go ...
Or maybe an LTE antenna and a modem are enough?

A rooftop WiFi bridge with a directional antenna can be made like kreosan did: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_VOwed2kCw

In practice, they throw a radio bridge from someone. There are some ambushes in this:
1. often the equipment is installed with excessive power (more than 20 MW), which, with the principled approach of the supervisory authorities, is fraught with a fine and seizure of equipment
2. in provider contracts, as a rule, in one form or another there is a clause on not providing "Internet to the side" - here, in the presence of provider self-interest, the donor may suffer from termination of the contract before surrendering it to supervision for the unlicensed provision of telematic communication services ...
In practice, "everyone does this and does not punish anyone", but it is worth remembering those who were poisoned by hawthorn - before that everyone drank it and not poisoned...
