How to properly organize your VPN server? There is a VPS from Vultr, empty, not loaded with anything. I tried many options (OpenVPN, PPTP, L2TP) and instructions, but I can't achieve normal speed. 5-7 Mbit ceiling. It is clear that with a VPN, the speed will be lower, but not 10 times the same.
I tried different VPS locations (Germany, France, Japan), there is not much difference.
