How to make the touchpad turn off when a mouse is connected?
I have always used a convenient Windows 10 feature from the touchpad settings - when the mouse is disconnected, the touchpad turns on, and when connected, respectively, vice versa:
However, after I purchased the Logitech G504 Hero mouse, this function stopped working. The touchpad won't turn on when I unplug my mouse, which is very annoying since I move my laptop around quite often.
I suspect that the point is that the computer perceives the mouse as several devices, some of which remain in the list even when the mouse is disabled:
But I don’t know what to do to make everything work as conveniently as before.
UPD:
Reinstalling Windows did not solve the problem, but updating to Windows 11 did. Now everything works as it should.
