How to make the text not "twitch"?

When I use fonts loaded from Google Fonts on a web page, for some reason, almost all the text on the page "twitches" until the entire font is loaded.
How to make sure that there is no such effect?

Use font-face and if that doesn't work then convert your font files to base64
