How to make the site accessible from the outside?

There is a server with a public IP address on which Plsek is installed and running. At the moment, it hosts 2 sites, one of which is accessible from the outside by domain name, while the second is available only after modifying the host file.

As far as I understand, there is a problem with DNS, or with the registration of the domain name itself, because when you try to install Let's Encrypt SSL on it, an error occurs:

Invalid response from https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/authz- v3... .

Details:

Type: urn:ietf:params:acme:error:dns

Status: 400

Detail: DNS problem: NXDOMAIN looking up A for #my domain name# - check that a DNS record exists for this domain

Well, there are two options:

  • Domain name not purchased and does not exist
  • Domain name purchased but not configured. Namely, either ns-servers for the domain zone are not specified, if they are configured, then there is no A record that should point to Plesk.
