How to make the router work like a switch?

Hello, there was such a problem. There are two tp-link wr740n routers. A cable from the provider (beeline) goes to the first router, then a cable goes to the second router from it, and from it to the computer and TV set-top box. On the second router, I disabled dhcp, wi-fi, firewall, gave it ip - 192.168.0.2 (for the first router, ip 192.168.0.1), i.e. as a matter of fact made of it a normal switch. The computer receives ip from the first router, but writes that the network is not recognized, the first router does not respond and there is no Internet, the TV set-top box also does not show. What have I done wrong?

You connected the wires incorrectly.
The wire from the LAN of the first router must be connected to the LAN of the second router.
And you connected the LAN from the first router to the WAN of the second one.

IP is not needed. we use only yellow ports! and the cable from the first router to yellow too.

yellow ports. We only need LAN sockets on the second router.
P.S. On some routers, you can programmatically "group" ports.

on the first one you insist on dhcp on the second dhcp relay and igmp forwarding proks for the set-top box
