How to make the Logitech HD Webcam C270 webcam work in the browser at maximum resolution?

Hello.
I have a Logitech HD Webcam C270 connected to a Win 10 Pro x64 computer with Google Chrome Version 79.0.3945.117 (Official Build) (64-bit) installed.
In a number of applications, such as GoToMeeting or Google Hangouts, it is possible to communicate directly using the browser. But I noticed that the camera gives out half the resolution that it can. If the same services are run as separate programs, then the picture is obtained in the required HD quality.
There is a similar problem on a MacBook (MacBook Pro 13 "2019, macOS Catalina V10.15.2) with an integrated camera and with the same Chrome of the same version. In the browser, the picture quality is low, with pronounced pixelation and a "striped" gradient, and in programs the same services - a normal image.
So I think it's a browser side issue and not related to the cameras. In the Chrome settings, I found a mention of the camera only in the security section, in the form of accessibility settings from the site, but I did not find how to influence the quality of the picture.
Please let me know if this issue can be resolved.
Thank you.

Alternatively, you can try to make the necessary programs receive the video stream not directly from the webcam, but from some kind of webcam emulator, such as WebcamMax, SplitCam, FFsplit, and a bunch of other analogs .. The stream from your camera will be picked up by the emulator, and from it you can already whatever you want to broadcast

https://en.webcamtests.com/resolution take the test on this site. Most likely your browser is zooming out of the webcam output.
