How to make the HiWatch DS-I128 IP camera write to a folder on the NAS on a schedule?

Good time of the day. Faced the following problem: there are two DS-I128 cameras and the iVMS-4200 utility. I set the cameras on the NAS (the sixth RAID was organized on the NAS. I tried to cheat and connect the folder from the NAS as a network drive. But in the iVMS-4200 it does not allow formatting), if you start recording manually, it writes and writes where necessary. However, when creating a recording schedule, there are simply 0 emotions. Tell me, please, where to dig? I read somewhere that scheduled recording works correctly (and works in principle) only on a formatted HDD. Is it so? Thank you in advance.

At you at manual record writes on NAS? Then it's all about the wonderful iVMS recording settings. What schedule did you use? Motion recording? If by motion, turn on the motion detector in the camera settings, on the web. Check if the PC-NVR is alive and available, if its settings open in IVMS (they also open via the web, but inside the iVMS client). Software from China Chinese software. As an alternative, I recommend ISS SecurOS Lite to everyone, free of charge and for 32 channels, it is configured clearly and easily, NAS can be mounted as a network folder, the NTFS file system will more than suit the program.
