Video playback and desktop streaming?
Good day, the crux of the matter:
You need to organize a video server on a separate computer (nettop) so that it can play the specified videos during idle time, and, if necessary, broadcast desktops from other computers on the local network.
For example: There is this nettop with a connected monitor and it shows commercials all the time, and when necessary, a person from the local network connects to this nettop and broadcasts his desktop there.
I don't know if I made it clear, if so, please clarify.
Previously, this was already implemented in our company, on the nettop there was an "fServer" server, and on other computers "fClient", and everything worked, but the hard drive died and now I can not find this program.
Windows 10 is installed on workstations, you can install Linux on a nettop, as long as it works

It comes to mind ....
On the screensaver trigger - VLC with a playlist (Script fullscreen and the rest ....). For connections - remmina.something else.
If the workstations have a Pro OS version, then you can connect to them via RDP. If not, configure VNC.
This is of course a collective farm, but without specials. software I don't know about....
