How to make the dispatchertimer run in the background?

I stumbled upon a question on a cyber forum (A new problem has appeared, the dispatchertimer does not work in the background. When the phone screen goes blank, the timer stops, well, it does not work when you switch to another application.)
I became very interested in the solution
, can someone tell me how to deal with this?
PS everything works great on the emulator, and in debug mode on the phone. but during the normal launch of the deployed program - the
OS stops - windows phone 8.1

Read about the life cycle of applications. The behavior you describe is not a bug, but a feature. To use the background timer, you need to use background tasks , but background tasks also have strong limitations
