Faced the problem of updating product availability in Woocommerce.
There are several suppliers, with a total of about 30,000 items. Every day they send price lists from where they remove inaccessible goods (new price lists do not display products with a balance of 0, but are simply deleted), but in a week they may appear in the price list again. Prices are also constantly changing.
Tell me, maybe someone knows how to solve the problem so that the rest of the products that are not available in the price list are set to 0 and it could not be bought in Woocommerce?
If you delete inaccessible products, this is not an option, because they are indexed and people subscribe to them on the waiting list.
This whole routine changes every day, you need something to automate.

In the admin panel, for a product on the "Inventory" tab, you can enable the "Manage inventory?" - "Enable inventory management at the item level".
In this case, the product that has 0 in stock on the site should have the mark "Out of stock" and the "Add to cart" button should disappear. And in the catalog, instead of the "Add to cart" button, there will be a link "Details".
As a result, the product is on the site, but it cannot be ordered.
But, it depends on your theme. What is your theme - is unknown. Above, I described the product behavior for standard themes. Perhaps you have a "samopis", then it can be anything. Try turning on inventory management, and you'll see.
