How to make sure mp3/mp4 codecs are disabled in Firefox 52?

On March 7, Firefox 52 comes out, which lacks mp3/mp4 codecs.
How to check it?
My theory:
- turn off codecs in Windows
Result: there will be sound in 51 FF, and there will be no sound in 52 FF, but I can't turn off the sound in Windows. Google didn't help
