How to make software raid1 Disk and Partition 2nd disk?

I don't want to buy a twin to the first disk , because there is a section (of the same size) on the second .
I need a raid because I don't like the idea of constantly making backup images - because:
1) there is a possibility of losing changes that have occurred since the last backup;
2) at the same time (as far as I understand) all files are overwritten again, even not changed.
Well, I want the OS (I have windows) to start from the 2nd disk when the 1st crashes.
The question is also seen here , but I would like specific working answers/solutions.

Everything is simple.
In short
, compmgmt.msc-> disk management-> convert disks to dynamic if it asks to reboot, on an unoccupied disk with the right button, there is an item to add to the mirror, in fact, everything will take up as much space as the main disk, if the second disk is slightly larger then the rest Use the place at your discretion, if you want, you can also make a copy of the bootloader, the steps are the same.
