How to make requests to a remote server?

Hello !
On the ubuntu server there is a folder-domain - from there there is a redirect to the next js project1. - it all works.
But I separately created a folder apps/bioadmin folder - I launched another node js backend project there, it started on port 5000
I can’t make requests to it, I make a request to [ip ubuntu server]: 5000/api/user/registration the request is loading and all

The port is closed by a firewall. Either allow traffic to this port, or set up proxying through Nginx.
