How to make relay DNS queries with original source IP on Cisco 3945?
Good day.
There is a scheme in which many clients are connected to 3945, the clients are statically configured, they have loobpack 3945 as their DNS, and only name-server is set on the router itself. Accordingly, requests from loop 3945 are visible in the logs on the DNS server, but there is a need to write exactly the client addresses in the logs.
Is there a configuration for Cisco routers that will allow DNS query relaying while keeping the clients' original IPs?
