How to make quick access (shortcut, link, widget) to a specific photo on your phone?

How I found the problem:
I was too lazy to write down the number of the loan agreement and just took a picture of it on my phone along with a barcode. Every month, approaching the ATM to make the next payment, I noticed that it is difficult to scroll through all the photos to find the one with the contract number.
It is logical to make some kind of label referring to the photo. After messing around with my phone (lg p500, android 2.3.3) for some time, I found the following solution:
On one of the desktops, place the “photo frame” widget, select the “single image” slideshow type, select a separate photo from the gallery and voila! Now the photo hangs in the widget and by clicking it you can open the photo in the gallery.
Somewhat non-trivial for reference.

  • Android 2.3.5 - there is the same path, by clicking the picture opens in full screen.
  • Android 2.1-update1 - photo frame doesn't open image on click

Actually the question:
I wonder how users solve such a problem on different phone models? Tell!
PS You could just write down the necessary numbers in evernote, but the problem remains.

Es File Explorer is a top file manager that can create desktop shortcuts.
Opened, selected any file (photo) submenu to create a shortcut.
Ready.

In iOS5, you can create albums, as a result, a photo is 2 clicks from the desktop, as I did with spurs for the duration of the session
