How to make OTG hard drive as internal storage in Adnroid 5?

Given: a projector on android 5, there are root rights.
Problem: Kodi (Torrenter 2) cannot use an external hard drive as a cache for torrents. The free memory in the projector is only 8 GB, so you can’t watch 1080p movies normally.
Tell me a program that can do this, since I'm apparently crookedly looking for a solution.

Maybe you yourself will need a driver for the disk itself to support Android and an addition to the driver for the projector so that the system perceives the disk as internal memory. I didn’t understand Android software development, I’m going to learn it and practice in Java and my favorite C#.
